Preparing for your first visit
Thank you for booking your session with the Baby Spa NZ. This information is to assist you as you prepare for your first visit to The Baby Spa.
We are entirely baby focused and for your baby to derive maximum benefit from your visit, he/she should be well fed and rested. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment.
SESSION TIME: At the Baby Spa we endeavourer to ensure that your baby is never over stimulated and always remains within the enjoyment threshold. The session takes up around 40 minutes, however we allow up to one hour as babies get hungry and may need to be fed mid treatment.
FEEDING ROOM: At the Mall there is a dedicated mother feeding room just behind The Baby Spa shop where you are welcome to get comfortable and relaxed, and feed your baby.
HYDRATION: We supply purified drinking water and encourage breast-feeding mothers to drink plenty, which can help prevent mastitis.
Although we indicate that the visits are for babies from 1 day to 1 year old, we advise that you bring your baby as young as possible for the first visit as the programme has been designed to begin with newly born babies.
OLDER CHILDREN: Please note: At the Baby Spa we are completely baby focused and encourage this time to promote parent-baby bonding. We therefore do not encourage children under the age of 12 to attend sessions.
